Prof. Dr. Himanshu Thapliyal

Dr Himanshu Thapliyal is an Associate Professor, Endowed Faculty Fellow, and Co-Director of the Cybersecurity Certification Program with the University of Kentucky, USA. He received the Ph.D. degree from the University of South Florida, USA. He has authored over 120 journal/conference articles with H-index=37 and received Best Paper awards at the 2020 IEEE World Forum on Internet of Things, 2017 Cyber and Information Security Research Conference (CISR) and 2012 IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI (ISVLSI). He is the recipient of the NSF CAREER award. He is serving as the Section Editor of the Springer Nature Computer Science, Senior Associate Editor of the IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, and the Associate editor of the IEEE Internet of Things Journal. His research interests include hardware security of IoT and vehicles, the circuit design of quantum computing, emerging technologies, and smart healthcare.
